Our school uniform is a mixture of royal blue, black and grey. Most items can be brought from high street shops. Items which have the school logo on are available from My Clothing and can be ordered online https://myclothing.com/
If you require more information please contact the school office. Hilltop ties are unique to the school and are woven to our design. They are available from the school office in either elastic or normal style, priced at £2.50. The school office also sells small items such as swimming hats (£2) and water bottles (£2.50).
There is a rail in the school reception for access to second hand uniform which is always available, if you would like to know more please get in touch with the the school regarding this.
The uniform is as follows:
- Grey/black trousers, shorts, skirt or pinafore dress. Blue and white gingham checked dress for summer
- White shirt or blouse
- Royal blue pullover or cardigan
- School tie
- White/ blue/grey/ black tights or socks
For PE:
- Blue/ black shorts
- House colour t-shirt
- Rubber soled plimsolls
All children are expected to change for PE lessons. It is acceptable for religious reasons to wear black leggings under shorts.
For swimming:
- One-piece swimming costume/ swimming trunks
- Towel
- Swim hat and goggles (optional)
Footwear
All children are required to wear plain black shoes. For health and safety reasons platform soles, high heels and open toe sandals are not permitted.
Jewellery, Hairstyles, Make-up and Nail Varnish For health and safety reasons we do not allow jewellery in school. The exceptions to this rule are small studs in pierced ears and small objects of religious significance. All jewellery should be removed for PE lessons. Taping over of earrings is not permitted and teachers are not permitted to remove earrings. Parents will be informed of PE days. Students with long hair must ensure that this does not impede their vision or provide a health and safety risk. Hair should be tied back with hair bands that are either plain black, white or blue. Make up and nail varnish are not considered appropriate and students are not permitted to wear any products in school.
